Job Description for:
TRAINING MANAGER/TRAINING SPECIALIST
GENERAL:
The Training Manager manages Bellflower Center training program
CORE COMPETANCIES:

- Excellent organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Proficiency in Excel and Word software required
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in education, social work or related field
- Five (5) years’ experience in training, teaching, program administration/management/supervision and in working with groups, individuals, children and families
- Proficiency in PowerPoint desirable
- Reliable transportation required
- Knowledge of child abuse and neglect preferable

Training Specialists
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solicit and schedule sites for presentations of various training programs
- Maintain and distribute schedule for Bellflower Center presentations
- Present training programs as necessary
- Schedule trainers for presentations
- Distribute all internal documentation as required by Bellflower Center policies and procedures including invoices, data management, and attendance sheets
- Make sure secretary has training materials available for all trainings
- Represent Bellflower Center in public speaking engagements, educational and training programs
- Prepare class lists, including CEU in-service forms, ensure payment, and open and close registration for workshops at Bellflower Center
- Determine if the workshop should be cancelled
- Attend trainings and meetings as required for program activities
- Participate in presentations for committee and/or board meetings, as requested
- Participate on various committees or ad hoc groups, as requested
- Attend Bellflower Center staff meetings
- Other duties as assigned by designated supervisor
