There are many ways you can help:

Volunteering
The gift of time is one of the most precious gifts you can give. Bellflower Center has a number of volunteer opportunities available.
- Child care volunteers assist in watching clients’ children during group programs (usually Wednesday evenings).
- Helpline volunteers answer the 24-Hour Family Helpline, under supervision of licensed professional staff (a few positions for trained child development professionals).
- Special event volunteers serve on event committees and help with fundraising and event logistics.
- Office volunteers assist with office tasks, including copying, filing, data entry and preparing mailings.
Website development and content research.
For more information on volunteer opportunities, please call the Development Department at 216-229-2420.
Talking About Child Abuse
One the best things you can do is to talk about child abuse and that there are things people can do to prevent it and to recovery from it. Most victims of child abuse, consciously or unconsciously, tend to believe that they are the only one such a thing has happened to, that they are somehow at fault, and that they do not deserve better. Hearing (or overhearing) talk about child abuse prevention and recovery can help people who have suffered abuse realize they are not alone in this, and that^s a big first step to recovering from the trauma.
Any one with any child-abuse related concern, need or question can contact our 24-Hour Helpline to start addressing these issues. The Helpline number is 216-229-8800. Spread the word.
Planned Giving
There are many different ways to make a planned gift to Bellflower Center. Including Bellflower Center as a beneficiary in your will or charitable trust is easy to do. You can also name Bellflower Center as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement plan.
Bellflower Center recognizes those who have made planned gifts to the agency with membership in the Bellflower Legacy Society.
If you would like to discuss planned giving options available at Bellflower Center, or to inform us of a planned gift, please call Jay Gardner, Director of Development, at 216-229-2420.
